Sorry, could i check with bros here, from HK airport to CA, roughly how long? planned a trip to DG, wanted to slots 1 day into CA before head for CP. but my flight land Hk land at 12noon. so need to plan well. as we target, SN and KTV together. on that day.

There are two option to go to CA.

Big Bus - HK$180
MPV - HK$220 - 250

Total time is approximately 3-3.5 hours including crossing the border.

with MPV you should save round 45 mins.

Another option is to take ferry (ferry transfer or transit) from HKIA to Humen, China..... HK290 one way.... then taxi from Humen to CA RMB50.... with the ferry, you no need to clear HK customs.... just clear China customs in Humen....
The ferry ticket counter is inside the transit area before the HK customs.... do not go out or clear custom if you want to take the ferry option.... look for the ferry transfer sign once you are out from your airplane.... you can check out this website for schedule....

Just be aware that the MPVs from the operators in HKIA will tell you that they don't send you to hotels like 东方锦河 because it's too far from CA town and you will only be told after the change of MPV at Shenzhen. If all nego to get them to send to the hotel fail, then at least get them to drop you at a nearer big hotel. Bolton Hua Xi is the hotel to drop in this case if indeed you are going to stay in 东方锦河 or 帝盈 because of their proximity to DFML. No sucj problem if you are staying in town and near 长青路.
