It's very normal that they lie to their own advantage to get barfined or to politely reject if they don't want to be. Just makin a livin.
I find them to be very professional n support them for these (besides cheats like runners).
Believe them or not is another issue.

I meant one would also lie abit to give good impression to the girls, I manager (actually no job), here for another 2 weeks (tomorrow flyin off), barfine u another 2 days (I butterfly).

Anyway all r just white lies n evens off both ways.

One of the BIG players of the AC entertainment scene is quitting AC and moving over to Thailand citing unbearable pressure from the authorities over "protection money".

The owners of The Golden Nile Group are finalising talks with a New Zealand business entity to sell all their remaining businesses and assets in Fields Avenue. In the past few months they have oredi sold the Cambodia bar, Blue Nile bar, Blue Nile Executive hotel and Neros Forum bar (now the High Society disco). The remaining businesses include the Golden Nile bar, a 5-storey commercial building, some restaurants and equipment.

Looks like the beginning of the end of AC when one of the biggest players there is pulling out. Those corrupt pinoys are killing their golden goose.

Bros in the PI especially AC please take note there are counterfeit peso notes circulating around and many places are not accepting the 500p notes.
The counterfeits so far has been confined to the 500p note and the fake is such good quality that it is hard to detect by the naked eye, but can be detected by uv light reader.

Thanks for the update. That's hard for us and the retailers. Business is so slow, a 1000p note is not appreciated as payment when you make payment.

Sometimes its advisable to have correct change or make 1000p note payment earlier so they can run around looking for some other shop who can change for them.

I usually see cashiers using a pencil to mark on notes to check authenticity. Do that in Singapore and we be arrested.
