REDS DUO UP FOR PFA PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Fernando Torres and Steven Gerrard have been nominated for PFA Players' Player of the Year.
The Reds duo make up the six-man shortlist alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, Cesc Fabregas, Emmanuel Adebayor and former Liverpool stopper David James.

El Nino has taken English football by storm in a way no other foreign player has done in a debut season.

His tally of 29 goals in 41 games has made him the most prolific Reds striker since Robbie Fowler, while successive home hat-tricks against Middlesbrough and West Ham had statisticians scouring the history books.

Gerrard, meanwhile, has already notched up 20 goals this season, including crucial strikes against Inter Milan and Arsenal to help Liverpool reach the Champions League semi-finals.

Ronaldo has been installed as the firm bookies' favourite.

Well done to El Nino on his first season at EPL in getting nominated for this award & also for the Young player of the year award.
But it will be difficult to win as Ronaldo is on such a rich vein of from & most likely to win it again.

The Reds has 5 games left & lead everton by 2 pts with a game in hand.
2nite Liverpool shall beat brackburn & leads everton by 5 pts:

everton looks 2 hv a touger fixture then the Reds,with visit by Chelsea & Villa follwed by vist 2 the Emirates.

Liverpool hv a bigger distraction in the form of the UCL SF against Chelsea.

At least a 4th place finish in the EPL is 4 the Reds 2 lost only.
