Hi all,

First of all, I'm not sure if this is the right place to do some introduction. I know theres a newbie section but i'm keen to say "Hi" to the fellow cheongster here, particularly from this thread, cos we share the same interest in geographical area, BKK (but this doesn't mean i'm not interested in Vietnam and China

). Other than this, some of the things i'll mention later on is more related to this thread, that's why i decided to post here instead. When i first know about this forum, the first impression was that... "Oh, just another shitty forum posting upskirt or naked pic". Never did i realised the esprit de corps among the cheongster are so strong and the willingness to share information is that great.

I've been trying to catch up from post #1 and man... 5000+ over post is no joke. As I didn't start to cheong till early '09 (late bloomer, i'm in early 30s now), I wanted to find out more or how much I have been missing out. This also explain why this is my first post after about a year. Practically no experience and dare not showoff in front of the many old timer / experienced hand in this forum. Registered in late '08 to try "research" more for my first cheonging trip in Q1 '09 but ended being lazy and just followed my friends around in Bkk. Been to some of the often mentioned Disco (RCA/Hollywood), MP (ratchada area) and AGG (NEP) joints here. Found a tirak and the whole episode lasted for about 1/2 yr

and picked up some simple Thai from her after few more trips to BKK. Nothing spectacular happen, still looking forward to any opportunity to cheong with fellow hobbist/kakis/bro here. My next destination will definitely be SC and maybe the G-club if budget allows.

Going through the post in this thread make me realised some of the significant event happening in Bkk for the past 1-2 years (eg. the on-going political saga / protest) and latest information on hotel, restaurant and air ticket. What sadden me most is the Santika incident that caused so many fatalities. Its quite often some forumers come and post a '1 time off' question asking for latest info in Bkk. I can understand how they feel because the number of posts are really overwhelming. We can even find some info on Vietnam and China cheonging scene posted by some of the very experienced cheongster here. The way they cheong is more often then I go to Orchard rd window shop

Anyway, enough of the lengthy intro... Hope i wont kena zap for this post and I hope to share & learn more with fellow kakis.
