I’ve been reading through these posts and I’m confused… I’ve alway exchanged sgd to thai at changi airport thinking I was getting a good rate… have I been getting screwed this whole time?? Where is the best place to exchange sgd to thai then?
For bros that are changing money, there are two different SuperRich companies - SuperRich1965 (Orange Logo) & SuperRich Thailand/Oh! Rich (Green Logo).
Went to Central Rama 9 yesterday, the Green SuperRich was offering 26.1 (crowded) while Orange SuperRich was at 26.05 (empty). Now Green SuperRich making people fill in even more details like contact number, email & hotel room. Change money also so mafan.
But always see the Orange SuperRich at Asok BTS with long line, guess not much difference for small amounts lah.
Superrich if you change above 1K is much better than SG. I kinda regret because i changed 2K in SG and lost out a bit.
The Superrich rate now is 28.0 for 1K and 26.2 for 100 to 50. I changed 26.05 in change alley last week.
You can also try Vasu exchange( Nana Bts station). I often compare the rates, and find VASU offers as good as Superrich, often better, and less crowded as well.

Banks don’t issue the SG$ 1K note anymore, wonder where to get? Think soon with all the moneylaundering news, the $100 note also no more. Went to the atm to withdraw $3K two weeks ago & all $50 notes.
That Green SuperRich website is misleading, it said 26.2 but actual branch changing only at 26.1, KNN.

Thks bro, I will try Vasu. SuperRich staff often black-faced, like they r doing us a favour and yes, can be super crowded. Guess we so used to SuperRich, actually got many different money changers in Bangkok.
Wah..... today's rate at Change Alley is S$1 = 26.5
Maitu liao quickly changed S$2K for 53K baht 😁

Thanks! I thought when they say 1000, it's referring to amount, not notes.
The is a money changer where the famous wanton noodle used to be in the small street next to Glow Pratunam. U need to walk towards the end of the street and there is a money changer there that doesn't require ID to change currency.
