One thing to take note if you are choosing to walk,there will almost be definitely that there will be taxi/ojek touts who will pester you. Just reject them nicely and if they still persist,ignore them. BUT watch out to see if taxi drivers follows you INTO any booking joint becos OKT might not know...always tell OKT that you came alone and w/o taxi. And if OKT ask you if you know "that" guy,tell him you dont.

Taxi/ojek driver will often stalk tourist looking for girls.

There will be hiccups in every oversea trip. Sometime when bros here shares that places were closed but by the time or months later when you reach there,it's already open. I need to stated here that luck do play a role.

It was blacklisted by the original contributor of that list,not me. I still stay away tho,just like i stay away from Delta Spa. Reason is simple,i only have one dick and there are better places than this 2. Batam is a place where there will never be short of girls.

One of its main problem is the tourist. About 60% of the tourist came from Singapore and they were all not poor people when they reach Batam. I dont state the problem/s,you just observe when you are there will do.

Receptionist will keep your passport upon check in and there is a safe where you can keep your spare money there. The rest (handphone,note book etc) you might wish to be extra alert and always latch your door when you are in room (i do that in my every oversea trip).

The usual advise here is always keep your money (and valuable) with you whenever you are out of room,otherwise it goes to the safe. Some bros like myself will keep some spare cash under the bed,but i dont do that anymore becos wherever i hide my cash,i keep it to myself and not share in a public forum.

Just remember,some Batam girls and OKTs are reading this thread and this forum too.

No i did not. any experts care to share your guidance? Things like rights and stuff, we hope to be absolutely clear on this issue. No one wants to be late for their appointment or something worse due to some random checks.

We are in a first world country, let us be absolute on this, knowledge is power

You obviously cannot reject unless you wish to spend the night in lock-up..

And the CNB officers are doing a job, a damn fine job of keeping Singapore as drug-free as possible if you ask me. That's one of the contributing factor of us being a first world country as you have so aptly put across.

There is no clear guidelines on this and my advice is try not to travel to places where drugs are notorious.

I noticed those plane arrived from notorious cities/countries will be cordoned off and screened on arrival...meaning asked to scan all bags and go thru metal detector...

Since I traveled mainly Vietnam which has strict drug laws and death penalty...the arrival was not cordoned off and no screening necessary...

Also try not to look intoxicated upon arrival and dress smart casual...

Bro, I am afraid we(people who had their time wasted or worse) do not need your common sensical knowledge.

For the experts out there who can give their guidance so that authorities do not need to be challenged, please provides facts, just facts, not common sensical knowledge.
