The property price in PRC had taken a beating recently, price dropped by about 30-50% in SZ. In ZH is slightly better. only drop around 5%. In March 08, the PRC govt announced all residential properties will become freehold. This should gives alot of investment opportunity in PRC. Note, there is a 5 years waiting period to sell. otherwise you will be slapped by a 20% sales tax.

1300+ is quite a good nice unit.
1800+ is top of the line.
prices in RMB per month. exclude utilities.
better find agent to look for you, maybe JC can help, since he is top agent.
