What I've understand if the condo is near to the MRT, u can get loan up to 80% from UOB Thailand, those further ones they only loan up to 60%.

Right now condos selling in Bkk range from 50,000 - 120,000 per meter depends on location.

Almost all the cab drivers at hang around the hotels are "con men". They just wanted to bs the customers to their "preferred" restaurants or joints to make commission.

I should know and never listen to these cab drivers taken from hotels.

I disagree, the biggest problem with those taxi drivers are they don't want to turn on the meter!

NO.....the taxi drivers that hang around the hotels in Bangkok ( common as all all tourist cities) is that they are not interested in making money for the cab fee. Those are "small" money to them.

They are more interested to "chop" or "cut" the tourists throat by bringing that to their shopping, "restaurants, massage joints etc. Thus will offer the tourist ridiculously low taxi fare just to attract them onto their cab.

That's where they will make their money.
