bro owen i was surprised that the shot by Alonso was so weak and did not had pace in it and surely Robinson would have enough time to react but i wonder how come he dived so high up instead of going low....

best goal of the day was by Yossi Benayoun.Rafa should play him more often as i metioned before.The first half of pool 's play was like a dvivison one team.What's up with the mid-field nowadays?4-4-1-1 sux...rafa!

Must say I have not been more relieved when Alonso's 'pass' went in. Alonso too much perfectionist at times - always going for power and range. See, a simple touch can score too.

Shout out for Insua, who played without fear, which is more than I can say for most of the players first half. Babel was doing quite well before he was substituted.

Hopefully we can build on this and play better attacking football in the next game.

last night match like play without a main striker cos Dirk Kyut was actually running all over and most of the time there were no one in the center of the final quarter...

i was in SPools Sportsbuzz last note. many frustrated punters (obviously siding Pool) bot 1 goal, n Pool win. while some bolder ones bot -1.5. some, like myself bot Pool win when odds was ard 2 n 1.5 goals over. tt was ard 50min+. when Pool scored, part of d room erupted with cheers. i was quietly happy lah but i was prepared to lose my bet as d clock wears on.

yesh i agree Ben's goal was really good, a touch of indiv class. he wrong footed d defender, stepped up pace n scored thru a very narrow angle.

we need intelligent players like him to unlock d opponents' defence. babel's oso 1 of them but lacked consistency. n wat happened to pennant huh? MIA oredi? tot at 1 time he was oso 1 of our more better players. very intelligent n full of trickeries too. but tis player got PMS n disciplinary problems, didnt really have a good time @ Anfield.

Rafa's move to bench Keane is completely warranted - Kuyt created two chances for Yossi, one of which became a goal.

But don't agree about Kaka, Huntelaar (who has gone to Real) - no way we can afford those players. We are still in trouble financially and have to service the debts sometime next year. And the less said about the stadium the better.

Aaron Lennon is complete shite - runs like a headless chicken and has no cross on him.

O'Hara looks a decent players but we have enough midfield players.

Bent for Keane, now that's something else.

Sorry to shoot down another Spurs player heheheh, Bale is injury prone and has only played 17 matches for Spurs, none in a winning side - info from YNWA.

I say give Insua a chance, he was fearless against Blackburn.
