I compared the fares on the Da Vienna web site with those I can get at Formosa with the membership card (540k).
The standard room at DV is 440k/night. The Junior Suite is 780k. The Grand Deluxe Suite, which is 33 sqm and is their largest room before entering the suite category (a small apt.) is 550k. Booking on Agoda, there is some significant saving.

In short, there is only one last argument that blocks me before making the giant leap and book DV instead of Formosa the next time, besides my fond memories in Formosa: would staff say anything if one night I go to my room with 2 or even 3 girls?
I wonder if I would have the same freedom to invite friends, or if girls can go straight to the elevator without being questioned, as I am used in Formosa.
That is a big plus for me, and I believe for some others who read this.

Maybe we don't want to spoil the reputation of the DV hotel here (contrary to my opinion, for some others having full freedom on guests is not a good thing). PM is also welcomed.

Dear all, I never received an answer to my question in red above. Next time I go to Batam will be in December, and yes I will be with a friend who heard about Batam from me and cannot wait to see it personally.
I don't like to be a wingman, as having someone with me detracts me a lot of freedom, and also I feel responsible for taking him to the right place (but I don't know what is the right place for him! A booking joint or adventure in a club? shopping or hunting?)

However, I am sure he would be much more comfortable in a good hotel as Da Vienna rather than Formosa. For me, it is essential I have full freedom to do what I want and take whoever I want to my room, even 3 girls. Do you have any experience?

I don't think overpaid. And she was a looker. I don't over estimate. For your information she stayed with both nights. I just tipped her 200k the second night. So 2 nights less than 1.5 mil i think I did alright for a decent girl who also acted as a tour guide and she does really likes me and did everything I asked except AJ which I didnt force it on her. BTW I get a daily naked pick on WHATSAPP. I will RTF in Feb.

Been some quite some time I had a bonk in this hotel.. usually FL, but don't expect good quality. Just some MILF, but service is good

I was told before,many locals (example ,Batam students etc) use some hotels that are lesser known to tourist tho.

Those hotels were more often raid (info from Batam taxi drivers).
