Thermae cafe will be as good as gone as Thailand just announced they'll not be opening its borders till next year earliest! Without the tourist, how much can the locals keep the place going? Impossible!

Thermae was never for the locals so it might be gone in a way but it will always come back in another form, somewhere, somehow, as long the demand is there one day, one day it will be back. Maybe not call Thermae, call SiewMae

The pricing is not for locals. So probably those seasoned ones hopefully have saved up a bit, tbose who need money.. got to find another way. Those with sugar.daddies.. wonder if the daddies will still send money given that cannot bonk for so long.

For foreign sugar papas I'm not sure but don't underestimate the jai deeness of local Thai Ah Pa!

All they want is a listening ear and having conversations with their deks are more important!

They may be gone now, it will be quiet but I believe once tourism is back, everything will be as per normal. Demand, supply and a meeting place.
