For me I think not only matter of can we afford or not .
Is more that are we overcharged .
We cant really compared what we paid 3 yrs ago with the present market .
For me , I will feel that I am being overcharged for example I went to a same ktv HMTL for 2 night , first nite bill was 5K but 2nd nite was 9K . Of cos this 2 room was booked by 2 diff ppl .2nd nite was booked thru one of my frenz ctc , he didn't feel he had been chopped all this while until the 3rd day we talk about it over breakfast .
Many ppl need to learn thru mistake ..... pay some school fee and this school fee tend to be main reason for price increasing .
Pay school fees but dun learn from mistask is one thing, here in the forum we share all these and warn not to be a carrot head is another. of coz most samsters i met either are new or feel that since they come once in awhile and with SGD vs RMB so they still think it is okay.
Yes, most places if you dunnoe the manager or personnel working within the area or intro by others, once they know foreigner, carrot head.... it is a sad thing though...
Anyway i will skip CP for now. Some many other good, economical, good attitude places around, why stick to CP.

Actually I have an interesting viewpoint that is totally contestable.
5yrs ago, QQ was one of the only platform available for messaging friends. Nowadays, there are so many. Weixin and Weibo being so prevalent.......... journey to CP to work.
Actually what I'm trying to get at is that if CP don't raise it's prices, with the advent of technology, the mms might disappear even faster. My girl went Nanjing to work. Over there she is 5/15/20. ST and ON rate not inclusive of the 500 for sitting. She says she's not returning to CP.
Last time mms not so smart, dunno how to use smart phone and share info. Nowadays if u can find a girl that doesn't use a smart phone, ... If CP still 2,5,8 now................ U think there will be as many girls in CP now? Even factory workers pay also went up at least 4 times already loh....
Good things don't last forever. Enjoy it while it last. More importantly, spend within ur means. If cant afford then dont go loh. Anyways this is just my point of view lah....

Happen to talk to some KTV MMs (from Fujian) in S’pore and all of them don’t work in CP before mentioned that 3/7/11 or 4/8/12 are cheap compare to other cities.
According to them, in Fujian/Fuzhou, the sitting fee alone is 500 to 800 rmb and ST or ON is not a must and up to MM and customer to negotiate.
Those drivers that fetch us from airport also say that the price in CP is still much lower than other major cities (not some ulu countryside) and they like to use this phrase “中国只有一个东莞”

Well said bro. No need to go too atas joint to have max fun. I was at OY on a sat nite and the FS was packed with gals. Easy pick for me and happy ending also. I snubbed the new joint this trip and went tesco watch movie instead.
