Pom, being an extremely kiam-siap old bum, has different views:

(1) By mentioning, promising (verbally) or paying straight away (prepaid) the tips is construed by Pom as a form of bribery or an inducement to perform more (nor necessarily one gets more than one had bargained for ) on top of what had been agreed.
