anyways, it was not a beautiful win but still an important one. neutrals will say that BB deserved at least a pt fr d game. their physical game really made it difficult for us. last few mins into injury time they really gave us some very anxious moments. there was this comical defending when mash n insua went for d same ball in d penalty area n bumped into ea other. luckily there was no threat. hopefully with Torres' fitness improving, we'll do better in d next game.

The match they surprisingly didn't show was the Carling Cup final right? Maybe FC screwed up so they relayed the Pool one instead.

Where was the highly rated Italian that cost us a bomb?Rafa..can you answer this?At least MAxi showed good character throughout the match...he was man of the match to me!As usual...Mascherano was on fire too!Thumps' up to 'Torres' the man!

felt tat the standard of referee are terrible recently... another glaring referee mistake in carling cup final...

maybe tat's wat those people high up in the FA meant by "human errors r part n parcel of the game"... but somehow, these "human errors" r mostly in some teams' favour...

i think aquilani would be put off by tha gangster playing style by Sam Allardyce's team. if he'd played. he'd likely be at the recieving end of some robust (sometime illegal) challenge and then disappeared from the match after that....

maxi played well, showed some intelligent play... marcehrano was his usual monstrous self, slot into the RB position effortlessly... torres showed wat we've been missing for much of the season... and wat a save by pepe right at the end of the match...!!!

Don't forget, that's after some crunching challenges from the Rovers forward and Pepe had received treatment on his shoulder just before that!

My only complaint is he hasn't been saving the penalties!

That BB player who shoved Lucas in the face should have been send off instead of been just given a yellow...I think if Alan Wiley had exercised his powers to send one of BB players, they might not have played like they were in a rugby match...

he almost did it.... the ball just managed to go under his body...
but he has not been saving panelties recently, unlike when he just arrived few years ago.. tat was the time even when we conceded a penalty, i wasn't tat upset cos i knew tat it's only like a 70-30 chance tat we'ld concede the goal...

apparently Starhub doesnt have d rights to Carling Cup matches. on hindsight i was glad I never got to watch d match. Cos I dont have to witness big fat roon scoring yet anthr winner n d cocky manure players lifting d worthless cup!

i saw d horrendous challenge by shawcross on ramsey in d stoke-ars game. last nite when i saw d flying tackles on torres, i was kinda worried they may juz break his legs into 2. indeed, playing a physical game n bullying d skillful n supposedly more skilful players is d route to survival in EPL. Stoke almost achieved their KPI until d dying mins let them down.

the leg was just hanging limply like it was some meat off a bone..

if it was seen irl.. i prob wont be able to continue from the shocks..

i guess arsenal have a good chance of snatching the EPL tis yr from the top 2 (for now) and i hope that AW gets that done..

again panic moments for our team as prob in the 2half BB played to win whereas we looked edgey and just punting the ball up for ft to chase.. not a very pleasant to see.. but we got the 3 pts so no complaints..
