2) unlimited no of additional players age under 21 (on 01 jan) can be used during the season..

i dun understand all these media keep saying tat we have a squad full of foreigner and have problem filling the new quota set by FA...

and i oso dun understand tat why people say roy selling foreigners and buy english players to meet the new quota...

if rumours in the press are to be believed (keeping my fingers crossed tat they're not true)... people will think tat we're the team went into administration, instead of Portsmouth... everyday, there's sure at least 1 player rumoured to leave us... and worse still we'ld be linked to a "over-the-hill-but-cheap" or "mid-table-reject-but-cheap" or "cheap-and-cheap" player everyday...

I think AY will be a good singing for Liverpool.

He can play at LB+RB and GJ as RB, both pacy defenders which should pose much problems for the opposition.

Moreover, riera as move on, so this signing will be quite important..

Going by his previous eufa campaigns strategies, i believe he will be putting out a team to play for a draw. Not a bad move considering the players he has at his disposal here. Hope this team can grind out a good result and let the big guns take over in the return leg.

if i din interpret the quota wrongly, it means every team can register up to 17 (25 minus 8) foreign players.... so even incl macherano, maxi, soto and cavalier, we've only 14, still have rooms for 3 more...!!

tat means we definitely have no problem meeting FA new quota... (esp. now marcherano had officially told roy tat he wants to go... and i'll leave out soto too, cos we've carragher, agger, sketrl, ayala, wilson and kelly fighting for 2-3 starting place)

i left out plessis and cavalieri initially cos cavalier has been long rumoured to leave and i dun think plessis can make the cut anyway...

Cool it bro, I know it's hard with the sudden sacking of Rafa. Just wish him all the best (he has a tough lose-lose situation at Inter), and we still have a club to support at Pool in a very difficult time.

I couldn't sleep last night so watched LFCTV and they were showing our match at Anfield against Leverkusen in the magical 2005 Istanbul season.

My, Rafa has fattened and aged a lot since then!

We beat the Germans 3-1 (thanks to a last min howler from Dudek - though the best is yet to be!).

Biscan probably earned his cult status in this one, played out of his skin.

But it was also a sad indictment of our plight. What happened to Leverkusen's strikers? Berbatov, who missed a couple of excellent chances, was snapped up by Spurs and as we all know moved for big money to the Scum.

Oops, alright, my mistake - damn, in this case, this signing is not so ok now - as for Torres which is our only striker that can score, it all depends how the board are going to "cheat" him into commiting his tenure with us.

Rafa....well, he is history now, no point mentioning about him...as for rh, i never had high hopes even during his time at fulham, just hope that the Players instead will rise to the occasion.

Where have you been? The deal was oredi done and officially sanctioned.
I went to Fiorentina's website and Emilio Insua is their registered player.

And he has been picked for Argentina national team's upcoming friendly match. Looks like we lost a potential WC player.
