In this society, respect is something you need to gain, not demand for it whoever you are. Is always 2 ways, therefore respect others if you expect others to respect you. In this society, a lot of respects are demanded from superiors, bosses, commanders, kings, queens, etc many and many. For example, you will be punished by the king if you do not respect the king. People who shows respect for him may not be true in many the cases. In fact, they respect him which could be due to fear, anxiety, influence, etc many and many. Do not tell me all the guys in military, government, or even private sector will not respect their commanders/superiors and get themselves into troubles. This kind of respect is a mix of fear, influence, top/down approach, ranking, etc. Do not tell me all of you respect and love your bosses so much because your bosses can see that you have been following his/her instructions. Respect can be a demand in work and real life, however, not totally so do not quote me. Thanks.
