Its never too late to be careful. I try to be more careful in future. Will see how it works out. Being a tourist, i am not allowed to open a savings/atm account in Pi. So i use smart money which is backed up by BDO bank and my smart sim card. Saved me from bankruptcy last week. I used my smart money to withdraw money and moved on.
Anyway my next 3 trips will be more in Cebu direction. Any hotel at 1000p right in the heart of the action in Cebu to recommend?

No charge for withdrawing money.

Never been in Cebu.

Hello bro, hope that you will not compare Cebu with AC for the action thrill. I would recommend Sampaguita Suites JRG Hotel to you, which has free WIFI at the lobby and the room rate start from P698. It is a clean and relatively new budget type of hotel. It is very near to Fuente Osmeña and Mango Square. It has 24hr fast foods and drug stores nearby, and money changers open in the day. Be wary of LBs and pimp touts hunting at you when you walk towards Mango Square in the night. Don't ever believe in any word from the pimp. Please do make early advance booking with the hotel, by phone is better. If you want information about Danao city, you may PM me or contact me.

Practising groping their susus.... I like that And I don't think that all Singaporeans have large hands. My spotlight girl was a real gem. But how they re-act to you after you bring them back also has a lot to do with finding the right "connection" or kamcheng. And that is one reason I spend time in hunting for the right partner for the day/night.

And not all Koreans are hated. I think the cheapo ang-mohs are just pissed off that Asians seem to have a lot more spending power than them and hence the girls love us a lot more.

However I won't deny that some bad eggs do spoil the entire apple cart. I've known of girls that are unwilling to sit with Koreans or Japanese because of their behaviour and treatment of the girls.

Most will try to guess where you are from and when the word Singaporean comes up, more often than not there is a change in attitude. Maybe we are doing something right over in AC.

A bit of street smarts is all you need. No need for a mini pistol or anything like that. It would more likely get you into trouble. Behave and treat people with respect. I think that's all you really need.

I got to bring my pistol, that's the only protection I have, it follows me where ever I go! The major problem is not enough bullits for the whole trip. Those dishonest Filipino men are too greedy for extra income same as Thais. Being streetsmart helps but being low key with luck is the way to go!

While I say I don't wanna believe that you carry your pistol along to phil and pass the body checks - back to the subject:

Koreans have been stealing girls from the natives - that is hate no 1 (though not like japs .. - though all foreigners are hated by natives for same reason)

hate no 2 : I mentioned before: koreans are involved in lot of business, and meddling and even kidnapping their own countrymen, scams and what nots .. and too many korean turn up, throw money, and realise wallet is not bottomless and then disappear .. .. and so many properties advance paid by koreans, jobs promised, and then korean fly aeroplane ..

PS: the korean scene is only relevant in Philippines context - there are direct OZ flights to Clark, and even Direct SEL flights to Kalibo and even in Boracay, a lot of businesses owned by Koreans, who are (supposedly) on the run from their own country for various issues, and not excluding skipping Military Service ..
