I know this post had been mths ago but can't help answering. I guess it is pretty cool to have a women's perspective mah.

As all know, SG women r all as competitive & can earn more, if not comparable nowadays. So.......(duck places r available & for god sake, women r spending just as much as men going to ktv) (maybe I shd join the women's forum on duck instead....lol).

Back to the subject.......in the 70s & 80s when men still dominate & our mum (stay home housewife), women then r definitely looking for better lifestyle & thus see money, see men! Lol......but now, average Joe = $4-10k & average Nancy = $3-8k & do rem that we do not need to serve Army.

Nonetheless.......besides looks & physical (our ideals lah), for hubby material is still "a good man" as looks r not impt liao. We also know, the more handsome, the more dangerous for family life.
