Advice for newbies: don't get scam at the bars when you buy a LD. Always tell the waitress you want to buy the gal a "single drink" . If you don't ask, they will sometimes give the gal a double= means the LD is now twice the cost. U won't know it until the bill arrives. Happen to me once so beware.

In my opinion, it's not dangerous to walk around during day or night, just have lots of confidence. I just went to money exchange and there were 4 average sized Filipino men outside and when I was walking towards them I just flexed my chest and shoulder and did my infameous professional wrestle shuffle and walked straight to money exhange and nothing happened. AC is generally safe if you walk on or near the bars/hotel areas(whether its Fields or Perimeter),
As a rule:
1)Do not try to walk Perimeter after the bars close down , and the bars in that area closes early (anywhere from 8:30-10pm). After the bars close there, do not try to walk from Perimeter back to the main Fields area. There are several places where a couple of hundred meters of unlit/ dark corners/ abandon buildings exist. Easy places for a good mugging. Best to hop on a passing jeepney for 8peso back to fields.

2)Do not walk outside the bar areas alone in the dark. Some of the streets pass the bars/ hotel area are not lit and almost nobody walks those streets (for a good reason). Most (even locals) take a trike ride even for short trips outside the bar area. Had a few muggings of locals and cheongsters on my last visit, and its always away from the main bar/hotel areas at night.

I don't know if my nephew took me to Cambodia Bar during my last trip but I'll definitely go to Cambodia Bar next month.

Still Club Lancelot is my favorite bar since my first bar fine and good friend is from that bar! She used to be a member of Sexbomb Girls!

Mine would be...1.Atlantis (my regular girl mimi) & also Agasha 2. Camelot (cos mummy mylene take good care of me) 3. Golden Garter (new bar in paradise bar).....then 4. all the other bars hehehehe

Try not to buy those with E-Load.
Always try to get the load with cards of P100 or P300 denominations.
They always last longer.

Now I know how the Smart Sim Cards looks and I shall buy them soon! I'll be in AC from Sept. 22 through 28! I want to meet Southaddress's girl from Bunny Ranch, during our last trip we tried to meet her but she was sick. Southaddress has good taste in women! Infact, I still have lot to learn from the AC Troop! I'm set for November's trip so I just need the information of the dates, so tara na soon!
