In the cheonging scene, I always think it is wiser/safer to settle payments using cash, to avoid any traceability. I believe many seasoned campaigners feel likewise. I often keep close to a thousand dollars in my wallet at a time, to avoid any need to urgently look for cash atms.

Happened to me. Forgot I do not have cash after I was back from a trip and wanted to visit Elmi right after touch down. Circled around her area looking for ATM.
