HSA advice - non STD issue for a change!
Anyone experience with HSA (headaches associated with sexual activity)? I am recently suffering from stabbing headaches before climaxing and it's happening repeatedly now. Sort of great for lasting longer, since it's forcing me to slow down, but pain persists for hours and I am starting to worry a bit.
Any doctor recommendations? I am not a permanent resident in SG so I don't really have a regular doc that I see, but also a bit concerned that this will end up with an MRI/CT (costs!)..... |

Have you checked your blood pressure recently?

Not very recently, stress is definitely a factor.

Get yourself an electronic BP monitor and check it yourself. I recommend OMRON. Reliable and accurate.
If it is anything above 140/90 you should see a doc.

i sometimes have that problem too but the the headache goes away after popping a pain killer.. dont think you will need MRI...
======================= Sex headaches are brought on by sexual activity — especially an orgasm. You may notice a dull ache in your head and neck that builds up as sexual excitement increases. Or, more commonly, you may experience a sudden, severe headache just before or during orgasm. Most sex headaches are nothing to worry about. But some can be a sign of something serious, such as problems with the blood vessels that feed your brain. more here http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-c...n/con-20025355 Quote:

If u wanna self medicate, in my opinion, aspirin or any blood thinners might be worth a shot. B
ut of cos safest is to see a doc, like the resident doc here in sbf. |

I still think he needs to establish his BP readings first before doing anything else.

Agree. The bp should be on the high side.
