Huizhou / Danshui (DS) Recommendations

which you seniors recommend if you had only 2-3 days and had to choose 1.

sad to say, this thread seems dead. .. anyway, any bros working in HZ or going over there? I will be going over for work late may. staying there for a year. meet up if free eh!

from HKIA, you can take the cheap BusA43 to SheungShui and then KCR to Lowu.
From downtown, then just hop on the KCR to Lowu.
At Lowu, after clearing the customs, the bus terminal will be to your right as you exit the check-point building.
(In contrast, you would have turn left to head to the train station if you are going to CP.)
The bus terminal is actually located under the Commercial Building where you get all the fake goods,
and the bus going to DS is the one closest to the Lowu check-point building and it is right there after the security screen.
Just ask to make sure since there are buses going to DayaBay. There should be a bus at every 20mins interval and the ticket cost RMB45 – there are compartments for large luggage and it is a 75mins trip.
from luohu bus coach terminal
lane 32 huizhou
lane 35 dansui rmb 45, < 1h
drop near ren ming lu 2
take cab rmb 15 to new regent hotel (as recommended)

Sorry for digging out the old thread of Dan Shui.

Just to see if there is any updates on Dan Shui.

My friends and i will be going CP but due to high cost we may plan to change of venue.

If those who go recently, pls update us the info.

There's a direct Yong Dong Coach (永东巴士) from HKIA to various Danshui Hotels.
HK$200 one way. Approximately 3 hours.

Danshui KTV hostess rates are about the same as Changping also.
Take note when you start to monger in other cities it doesn't necessary mean it'll be cheaper by a lot because inflation in China is nation wide.

What you want to seek is better service attitude.
Wherever people go, they tend to use Changping as a benchmark.
There's no other better place than Changping in terms of variety and quantity so manage your expectations.

One big difference is the service of the Danshui KTV hostess is much better as majority of the clientele are Huiyang locals, Shenzhen residents and Hong Kongers, etc.
As you know the aforementioned clientele group are much more demanding than Malaysians, Singaporeans and Overseas Chinese.
Changping KTV hostesses are spolit by Malaysians, Singaporeans and Overseas Chinese with big tips, expensive mobile phones, computer gadgets, jewelleries, etc.

Hint: The trend now is more and more Taiwanese are going to Danshui from Changping as side trips.

anyone interest in DS ktv let me know, I visited LiJing hotel ktv, quantity ~300,but the quality is worth for 500 cat than CP, and room is best. 7pm start.

Was in Danshui last week and Saunas are operating in covert due to some wind.

Now is back to normal.

going to ds for the first time next month, for 1 night only, rest of time in cp. will appreciate if some experienced bro with ds can recommend a hotel. ktv and sn to go for a 1 day 1 nite sexperience. dont mind paying,need quality to be similar to cp as bringing some customers and friends too.

Since its your first time, u may like to look for Tony, probably he is one of the few CP agents that does DS
