The Singapore Health Promotion Board-Ministry of Health Clinical Practice Guidelines indicate significant variations in obesity prevalence among different ethnic groups within Singapore, with Malays having the highest prevalence of obesity at 20.7%, followed by Indians at 14.0%, and Chinese at 5.9% (12).
