The first few pictures of the rash looks like pimples. which may look very mis-leading.

i am very scare if i see he first few pics. bcos i donno if my rash is like that...

Bro, if you look carefully at those rash pictures.. You will notice that the rash of HIV is diffuse and spread arcoss the entire trunk and back fo yor body. A HIV rash is no ITCHY and is painless...

If you did not engaged in high risk sex activity e.g. Sex without condom and there is no incidents whereby the condoms break during the bonking... I can guarantee that you are quite safe UNLESS there is some kinds of open wounds at the base of your small bro. This is the part whereby condom could not protect as it is not covered by it....

My rash is like mosquitoe bite. got 1 raise patchand sorrounding red. after a while it is gone. but sometimes come back.

But the rash in pic look like pimples leh. sometime i got pimples on the chest.
pimple also come onto face.like that abit scary leh..

Bro, sometimes what you see on the photo might not be cleared enough for you to determine.... Like I said, if yor rash is only limited to just 1 spot e.g. yor legs then it is mostly not HIV rash...

A Hiv rash is all over the body esp the trunk, back and sometimes faces. Also the rash might come with a high fever which last several days..

If you have such symptoms and at the same time, you believe you are exposed to high risk sex, then go for hiv checkup after 1 month of exposure....

If you are interested to know more... go read "common qns on primary hiv symptoms or ARS" under the same forum. U will understand that symptoms such as rash can be caused by different issues not just HIV...

To make you more less paranoid, I have the same symptoms as you as well. sometimes i get a bit of rashes abit of here and there... same like a mosquitoe bite, raise patch and itchy...

It is just yor sensitive skin lah...

Stop yor imaginations. Go for a HIV checkup, you should be fine. A HIV infection will have mutiple symptoms rather than just simple rash ok!!!

Please remember that most of us are not doctors or medical professionals. Please don't rely on the pictures, and compare your rashes/skin problems, to see whether or not you have HIV. In some cases, people don't even have symptoms. The only way to find out is to get a HIV test.

For someone who took the necessary precaution, took the AFA test 5-6 mths after exposure and no further exposure after that, does that means if the test was negative, he or she should be safe from HIV?

Bro, a HIV test using blood is always 99% accurate after 6 months. I shall not put 100% cause you might have another exposure during the 6 months before you get tested.

But if no more exposure during the 6 months. For me after one last time, my vit M down plus work busy, and change in direction in life stopped commercial activities already. In that case? Been 1 year since then and also no more exposure of any sort. But whenever fall sick seriously still have some little fear... cos all the time the 99% thing comes in.... and cause undue stress as mentioned the symptoms may appear many years later. But from what i read so far, by 3-6 mths period the body should already produce antigens which if in 6 mths and no exposure at all, test have to be total accurate to tell if we are -ve or +ve right? Anyone can clarify that?
