can any1 advise how long it takes sperm to travel to egg and to be consitute as week 1.
My gf is pregnant for 9 weeks but when i back date i didnt touch her during that period.

can any kind soul pls advise on tis.

Btw, i think even a doctor cant give you the actual date on when this baby were make.....the 9 week is just some kind of calculation from her last Mense.

I think main concern now is to keep the baby or not since you have ?????? on her.

Well Sperm can stay in the worms for days. best indication is did you have sex with her after her safe period. If you do than there is high chances. Frankly it is difficult to pin point to specific weeks as it also depends how strong is your sperm and the condition.

This is a big problem, when you find a good sexual active partners, in no time you will find them cheating on you and when you find a good girl, they normally are not sexually active.

accuracy is usually +/- 2 weeks

so if you think back 2 to 3 months time frame you should have your answer

assume today is 11 June, between 1 Mar to 15 Apr did you have unprotected sex?

remember, on average it is a 1 month window period! you cannot calculate to a specific day

Actually I think you should think of the unborn child now rather then do any more calculations

you can't pinpoint the date as other mention. the 9weeks is based on her last cycle. if within this 9weeks you have intercourse with her chance are she will be pregnant. do you have sex with her right after the cycle 9weeks ago? if yes, chance are the child is yours. of course, that is assuming she does not have someone else which you are not sure now.

from your case this is only part of your worry. i guess you are not wearing any protection right? if you suspect that she have multiple partner, i guess you should be more worry about contacting STD at this point of time.

in the end do you want or can afford having the child for your situation? regardless if you are not ready for that, it doesn't matter if the child is really yours right? it will only matter if you are ready to married her and take care of the child. do consider carefully what your next course of action.

but what make you doubt her at the first place? if there is no trust between both of you, it will be a dangerous game ahead.

If I can remember, sperms can live in the womb for 3 days. But they die after hours without moisture.

Scan for 9 weeks is rather accurate. You can estimate by calculating the date of your last sex. Add about 3 days for sperm to travel and about a week for it to fertilize.

So your last date of sex + about 10 days would be the start of pregnancy.

Give and take a few days la.. I've been through with this before and I went all over the world in forums asking for help on this as I suspect that the child wasn't mine.

Do you have the same thing too ? Else you don't even need to know such things.

Personally not sure the accuracy of the scans, egg travel and safe period thingy.

But one thing for sure is only the female will know who does it belongs to. But if she have many sex partners during the time frame thats another story.

However if either of you is not ready for this baby, you got to think real hard about keeping it.

Are you thinking about yr gf fucking some other men? If yes, you should know her more than us and go talk to her.
It is still a life, it move and it's your own baby. Work things out with her, try to keep the baby if you can by all means.

Actual date may be the date minus 1 to 2 weeks, I believe DNA check is best in the case but dont know if it can be check for a 9 week staff -- of course after giving birth checking too late for you lao ....

Is she your wife or just gf ?? how long u know her if gf? This kind of thing difficulty to determine for others
