DSC Clinic at Kelantan lane is relatively very much cheaper than private clinics because it is heavily subsidised by government.

I read some threads. Record in DSC is traceable by Government if they want.

The health statistics are collected from DSC as well as CDC.

DSC at Kelatan lane for anonymous HIV/STD test only 30 bucks. Check their website for more accurate info.

Dr Tan and Partners ( the doctor is patient and sit down with you to address your concerns. if u have any symptoms he can look at it and tell u if it is a symptom not.)

I have already make an appointment at DSC on next monday for Std test but my friend told me that later i have a record . Called them and they told me around 100 plus for the charges. Is there any recommended places and cheap for std test? and where is Dr Tan and partners and how much will it cost? My friends said u can also go to clinic nearby at kelantan lane and they can do the test and with a private record. Btw im staying in jurong west. Can anyone suggest me?

The doctors and nurses at DSC are professional and discreet. You can also ask for the anonymous test. It takes about a week to get the results. The record is there in the system more for keeping your history. To a determined person who really wants your details, it can be obtained, but there must be a very compelling reason to give it out. There is a privacy law that protects you. The government have to be very careful before giving out your records.

However, your case adds to the case statistics for the whole island and that they will use. No patient details are divulged. If you are very concerned, talk to the good people at Action for Aids...
