A woman at a Gas nightclub (Mumbai ) on Saturday night was taken by 5 men, who according to hospital and police reports, gang raped her before dumping her at Bandstand Mumbai. Unable to remember the events of the evening, tests later confirmed the repeat rapes along with traces of rohypnol in her blood.

This drug is developed as a treatment for insomnia and the effects after taking this drug are that it produces disinhibition and amnesia. i.e. loses self-control & short-term memory loss.

It does not cause sterilization, neither temporary or permanent so if a girl were raped after being doped with this drug, the chance of getting pregnant is still the same.

agreed , the memory loss is short term and slowly the victim will remember what happened to her . this is not a new thing
